In 1947, Hibbs ElectroMechanical, Inc. was created to serve Kentucky’s booming coal industry as a motor repair facility. At that time, we weren’t aware of the terms vertical integration, continuous improvement, or total customer satisfaction—even though we were practicing these very concepts. We were simply making sure our customers were satisfied. As such, when regulations began to erode Kentucky’s coal sales, Hibbs’ services were already diversified to serve multiple industries around the nation.
Today, Hibbs’ abilities include sales and service that spans all types of electromechanical machinery used in power generation (fossil, nuclear, hydroelectric, wind energy), mining, manufacturing, primary metals, petrochemical, oil and gas industries, pulp and paper, transportation, and agriculture.
In 1997, Hibbs expanded the operation and moved into a new 40,000 square foot facility. Since then, we have acquired numerous pieces of state-of-the-art equipment for the service and repair of electromechanical machinery. As technology improves, so does Hibbs’ investment in technology. The technology makes Hibbs ElectroMechanical, Inc. your best choice for the repair or replacement of your electromechanical equipment.
